Sofwave is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment that firms the skin by prompting it to rebuild its own collagen. Its SUPERB™ technology sends seven synchronised, parallel ultrasound beams to the mid-dermis, about 1.5mm beneath the surface. There, they form small cylindrical zones of heat at around 60–70°C.
That heat prompts the skin to repair itself, laying down fresh collagen and elastin over the weeks that follow. Built-in cooling keeps the outer layer shielded and intact, which is why recovery is quick.
From fine lines around the eyes and crepey texture to a softer jawline, brows and neck, Sofwave restores firmness from the inside out.
Before any energy is delivered, your doctor assesses your skin so the settings and treatment map suit your skin and the areas you want to address. Numbing cream is used first to keep you comfortable, although many patients choose to do without.
During the procedure:
The applicator is placed on the skin and moved across each area in a series of pulses, with its cooling surface in contact the whole time. The face, the area around the eyes, under the chin and the neck can all be treated in one visit.
Treatment sensation:
Most clients feel short bursts of warmth or tingling with each pulse, eased by the cooling. Sensations settle quickly once the session ends.
A full face and neck session usually takes about 45 minutes.
Sessions needed: One session is often enough for a visible result. Your doctor will tailor the plan to your skin and goals, and may suggest a repeat session where needed.
Results Timeline: Some clients notice a subtle tightening within the first week. The main change builds gradually as new collagen forms, and improvements usually become clear over about three months.
Maintenance: Skin keeps ageing naturally, so results change over time. Many clients return for a maintenance session every 6 months to a year to keep skin firm.

Most clients go back to work or plans the same day. Skin may look pink or slightly flushed for a short while afterwards. Some clients feel mild tenderness or soreness in the treated area, which usually fades over the next few days.

- Keep to gentle, hydrating skincare while any redness settles
- Avoid intense heat, such as saunas, until skin feels calm
