Inmode Lumecca

Spots Fade. Redness Settles.

The Experience
Brand Origin

Lumecca is an intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment for sun-damaged, uneven skin. A filtered flash lamp releases a broad band of visible and near-infrared light in short, bright pulses. Much of that energy sits between 500 and 600nm, the range where brown pigment and blood absorb light most strongly.

Following treatment, pigmented spots rise and flake away over the following days, while visible vessels and diffuse redness gradually fade. The surface of the skin stays intact, so recovery is usually quick.

At ARTÉ, Lumecca runs on the InMode Pro platform, with a handpiece that covers both the 515nm and 580nm settings. For sun spots, freckles, flushing and fine thread veins, it brings the complexion back into balance.

The Process
Star Products & Key Ingredients

Your first visit begins with a skin assessment. IPL settings depend on both your complexion and your concerns, so the filter and energy are chosen to suit you. No numbing cream is needed.

During the procedure:

With eye protection on, a cooling gel goes on first. The chilled sapphire tip rests on the skin and each pulse is delivered in turn, working across the face, neck, chest, arms or hands.

Treatment sensation:

For most clients, each pulse feels like a sharp tap with a short burst of heat. The cooled tip helps keep it comfortable.

A full face treatment usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

The Journey
Skincare Highlights

Sessions needed: A typical course is 1 to 3 sessions, about 3 to 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance as needed. Your doctor sets the course around your concerns.

Results Timeline: Treated spots usually look darker for a few days, then flake away within one to two weeks. Redness and small vessels tend to fade more gradually, with tone evening out as the course goes on.

Maintenance: New sun exposure keeps producing fresh pigment. A daily sunscreen habit and occasional top-up sessions help hold your results.

Flash by flash, the skin finds its even tone again.

Recovery & Aftercare

You can usually head back to your day right after. Expect some pinkness and warmth, similar to a mild sunburn, for a few days. Treated spots darken before they shed, and where vessels are treated, slight bruising occasionally appears and fades on its own.

Aftercare tips:

  • Stay out of direct sun and wear a broad-spectrum SPF every day
  • Leave darkened spots to flake away on their own, without scrubbing or picking
  • Skip tanning before and between sessions
  • Follow the aftercare notes provided after your treatment
  • Attend your follow-up review so your doctor can check your progress
Results to Expect
  • Faded sun spots, age spots and freckles
  • Calmer facial redness and flushing
  • Fewer visible broken capillaries and thread veins
  • A clearer, more even skin tone
  • Smoother-looking texture with a fresher glow

When will I see results? Spots often lighten within one to two weeks of a session. Redness and tone usually improve steadily with each treatment.
