Forehead Fillers
A Smoother Brow, A Softer Profile.
Forehead fillers reshape the upper third of the face. With time, the forehead loses fat and bone support, so it can flatten, show dents or look uneven, and the ridge above the eyes stands out more. A soft yet supportive hyaluronic acid (HA) gel is spread in a thin, even layer to restore a gentle curve.
The forehead has very little fat under the skin, so the gel sits in a deep layer close to the bone. There it evens out hollows and lifts creases that stay put when the face is relaxed. HA holds water for a smooth finish and is gradually absorbed.
For flat foreheads, uneven contours and lines etched in at rest, it brings back a rounded, youthful profile.
Your doctor first studies the shape of your forehead, brow position and how the forehead meets the temples, then marks the areas to treat. Numbing cream is then applied.
During the procedure:
Through a few tiny entry points near the hairline, fine threads of filler are laid along the deep layer across the brow. The gel is then gently moulded for an even surface.
Treatment sensation:
Most people feel mild pressure, with a brief pinch at each entry point.
Injecting itself tends to take 15 to 30 minutes, as the forehead is a broad area that often needs more product than smaller zones.
Sessions needed: A single visit is typical. A review follows a few weeks later, where a small refinement can be made if your doctor advises it.
Results Timeline: The new contour shows straight away. It settles and looks most natural after a week or two.
Maintenance: Results often last around 9 to 12 months, depending on the filler and your metabolism. Many clients refresh it once or twice a year.
Subtle and even, the aim is a forehead that simply looks rested.
You can usually go back to your routine the same day. Slight swelling or tenderness is common, with the occasional bruise at an entry point, and it usually clears in a few days.
Aftercare tips:
- Leave the forehead alone: no rubbing, massage or firm pressure unless your doctor asks
- Skip makeup, heavy workouts and heat for the rest of the day
- Contact the clinic promptly about unusual pain, skin colour change or any change in vision
- Follow the aftercare notes provided after your treatment
- Attend your follow-up review so your doctor can check your progress
- A smoother forehead, with dents and bumps evened out
- A rounder, more convex profile for a flat forehead
- Softer static forehead lines
- A less prominent brow ridge and a gentler look
- A seamless transition from forehead to brow and temples
When will I see results? The difference is visible immediately and usually looks fully natural once 1 to 2 weeks have passed.
Forehead Fillers are ideal for individuals who:
- Were born with a flat or sloping forehead
- Notice dents, bumps or hollowing as the forehead ages
- Have forehead lines that stay visible at rest
- Would like a softer upper face, with a less pronounced brow ridge
