Celluject - Scars

Release the Anchor. Let the Skin Rise.

The Experience
Brand Origin

Celluject for scars is an enzyme injectable that treats a scar from beneath, where it is anchored. Many rolling acne scars are held down by tight strands of fibrous tissue. This blend is led by collagenase, an enzyme that breaks down that excess scar collagen, so the strands loosen and the skin above can lift. Lyase helps the blend reach through the whole scar and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid supports the skin as it heals.

Releasing a scar this way, without a blade, is called enzymatic or chemical subcision. As the tethers soften, the body lays down fresh, more orderly collagen in their place, and the surface levels out over the following weeks.

For rolling acne scars and surgical or post-operative scars, Celluject works on what holds the scar down.

The Process
Star Products & Key Ingredients

Your consultation starts with a close look at each scar: its type, depth and how firmly it is tethered. Rolling scars are the main focus. Deeper boxcar or ice-pick scars are usually planned together with other treatments. Numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort.

During the procedure:

Small amounts of the blend are injected with a fine needle into and around each scar, on the face or the body.

Treatment sensation:

Most clients feel quick pinpricks and a little pressure at each point.

A session usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, depending on how many scars are treated.

The Journey
Skincare Highlights

Sessions needed: Most plans involve two to four sessions, around four weeks apart. How many you need comes down to how deep and extensive your scarring is, and your doctor sets this at consultation.

Results Timeline: Change is gradual. Many people see a first step of improvement around two weeks after a session, and the skin keeps evening out as new collagen forms across the course.

Maintenance: Improvement can continue for a few months after the final session. Your doctor may pair the course with resurfacing or a collagen-building skinbooster for a fuller result.

Once freed from below, the skin can find its own level again.

Recovery & Aftercare

Downtime is usually minimal. Redness is common and tends to settle quickly, and an injection point may show slight swelling, tenderness or a small bruise. There is no open wound to look after.

Aftercare tips:

  • Keep the treated skin clean and use a gentle routine while it settles
  • Wear sunscreen daily and avoid strong sun
  • Skip intense exercise and heavy sweating straight after treatment
  • Avoid exposure to extreme cold or high heat such as ice baths/sauna.
  • Follow the aftercare notes provided after your treatment
  • Attend your follow-up review so your doctor can check your progress
Results to Expect
  • Softer, shallower rolling and tethered acne scars
  • Smoother, more even skin texture
  • Fresh collagen where scar tissue once sat
  • Softer, more supple surgical and post-operative scars
  • Healthier-looking skin in and around treated scars

When will I see results? Many clients see early change within about two weeks of their first session, with results building as the course continues.
